Wabi-Sabi Series Yanagiba/Sashimi Knife, VG-10 Steel, Sandalwood

Yanagiba is a type of Sashimi Knife, for cutting and filleting fish or ham with a pull stroke. Slim blade in the shape of a willow leaf or Katana (sword). Long and Narrower blade is suitable for slicing tasks. Especially for preparing fresh, good&beautiful shape of raw fishes (sashimi).
The blades of the Wabi-Sabi series knives are precision ground from VG10 steel to provide an excellent balance of hardness, edge retention and corrosion resistance. Each knife comes with an octagonal sandalwood handle.
The Wabi-Sabi collection combines the traditional design of Japanese aesthetics with excellent modern materials, combining performance in a classic design.

**Wipe the knife clean after cooking, especially after cutting out acidic foods.
**Coat the knife with mineral oil before storing.
**Do not immerse the knife in water for a long time.
**Never put knives in the dishwasher.
**Avoid cleaners containing bleach or citrus extracts.
**Do not use marble or tile cutting boards. Always use a soft cutting board such as wood.
**Due to the nature of hand and traditional forging, each knife is unique and may have some distortion or irregularities in appearance. This is normal phenomenon.
