DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
The beautiful 7.3" Nakiri is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife designed with fine vegetable slicing in mind. It is ideal for cutting radishes, cucumbers or ginger. Characterized by its rectangular shape and width, Nakiri is perfect for chopping herbs and vegetables, and for transferring ingredients from cutting boards to cooking vessels. The straight edges allow you to make smooth slices as you slide the tip neatly across the cutting board. While Nakiri is versatile and may look like a meat cleaver, it's not great for cutting bones.
Each blade features a Japanese VG10 core surrounded by 33 layers of hammered steel to create a beautiful layered Damascus pattern. Each knife is hand sharpened to ensure maximum sharpness, right out of the box.
Stylish honeycomb aluminum handle, comfortable grip, moisture-proof and durable.
