The Bread Knife 8" has a serrated edge and is capable of cutting soft and hard breads without crushing or tearing. In addition to slicing bread, the bread knife is also great for slicing watermelon and even tomatoes and other crusty but soft-fleshed vegetables and fruit. Remember to use it at long distances to make the most of its length. A must for the kitchen.
